MACTA/MnACTE CTE Day at the Capitol 2026

March 5, 2026
75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, St. Paul, MN 55155

Each year, the Minnesota Association for Career and Technical Education (MnACTE) and the Minnesota Association of Career and Technical Administrators (MACTA) host CTE Day at the Capitol to showcase the success and impact of Career and Technical Education across Minnesota. Last year’s event was held in February and brought together educators, administrators, and advocates from across the state to share powerful stories about the importance of CTE with legislators.

This year’s CTE Day at the Capitol will take place on Wednesday, March 5. CTE professionals from every region are invited to join in highlighting how CTE programs prepare students with the academic, technical, and employability skills needed for success in today’s workforce.

The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Veterans Service Building, where participants will review the schedule, refine key messages, and finalize details before heading to the Capitol. Throughout the day, attendees will meet with Minnesota Senators and Representatives to discuss how CTE strengthens communities, supports local economies, and builds a skilled workforce for the future.

To help participants prepare, a pre-event webinar will be held in February. The session will provide an overview of the day’s activities and expectations, and a recording will be shared with everyone who RSVPs.

A full-day schedule and supporting materials will be provided to all registered participants. Register online.
